Active Seniors Introduction – Lets Get Moving 2020 – The Source Physio
“I have had the privilege of working alongside Active Seniors here in Dee Why for some years, sharing the common goal of keeping people on the move. In this case, it’s the older generation, many of whom have come to the conclusion that the adage “if you don’t use it, you lose it” isn’t an exaggeration! Active Seniors boasts a dynamic membership of over 3000 members, and in the current climate of COVID-19 restrictions, which affect this generation more than most, seniors are being urged to remain mobile and socially connected. The team of Exercise Physiologists at Active Seniors have created Free Online Seniors Exercise Classes via their Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/activesenior… and exercise tip videos on our Youtube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQjI…. These have been extremely well received with over 20,000 views in the past week alone. Active Seniors are also hosting the biggest ever (free) online Seniors Exercise Class on Wednesday the 29th of April at 11am, with over 400 people already registered via their website https://www.activeseniors.net.au/ Meanwhile, I was delighted to contribute, so I hope you enjoy the accompanying video.”
